A passenger of the American airline Delta Airlines was in custody after an incident on board the plane: a man flying business class was upset because of the “refusal to pour him wine” and made a brawl, reports The Daily Star.
According to the publication, the incident occurred on board the liner en route from Minnesota to Alaska.
“A business class passenger named David Alan Burke was furious after they refused to pour him red wine. In response, the man began to pester the airline employee, calling him “cute”: he grabbed the flight attendant and kissed him on the neck,” reports tabloid details.
The violent passenger even broke the crew member’s food and drink tray. After the incident, the steward had to hide in the staff compartment so that the brawler would no longer approach him.
“However, the drunk tourist found his victim after only 10 minutes and again offered a kiss. According to the testimony given under oath, the flight attendant claimed that at that moment he became “very uncomfortable” and “the passenger’s unexpected move took him by surprise.” For safety reasons, shocked a crew member contacted the captain of the aircraft,” the publication adds.
The commander reported the incident to airport control, calling it a “level two security threat.”
“The bully was detained at the Anchorage airport immediately after landing. Burke denied all charges against him, saying that he “never kissed anyone,” and also claimed that he “did not even eat on the flight” and did not break the tray. Annoyed by the situation, the detainee asked the policemen: “Do you even know who I am?” After a while, the man, who did not admit his guilt, was released from arrest,” the source summed up.
