Ukrainian tourists staying in Hurghada hotels will be able to watch a grand show in honor of the opening of the Sphinx Alley, which will take place in Luxor, after seven o’clock on Thursday evening local time. To do this, many hotels in Hurghada have specially placed giant screens by the pools and outdoor beaches, connecting Hurghada to Luxor as a video city.
This was stated by Sameh Gomaa, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of a group of tourist hotels in Hurghada. “Hotels sought to give tourists the opportunity to celebrate a unique global event in Luxor, which is watched by the whole world,” he said.
It is expected that more than 12 thousand tourists from different countries will see the opening ceremony from Hurghada hotels. The show is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. It will include grand light shows “based on” Ancient Egypt, which will cover the West Bank, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossus of Memnon.
Part of the “ancient Egyptian” show will be hotel staff, who will change into the clothes of pharaohs with Egyptian flags. Tourists will be able to take memorable photos to post them on their pages on social networks.
This, in turn, from the point of view of Hurghada hoteliers “helps to revive tourism and attract tourists to Egyptian tourist cities.”
