Hundreds of JetBlue Airways passengers were stranded on a runway at New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport. This was reported by the New York Post.
Many tourists fell into hysteria amid general panic. Passengers shared their complaints online, calling themselves hostages at the airport. People said they spent six hours on a closed plane in no time.
Western media reported that a storm struck the United States on January 30, paralyzing one of the airports. About 20 planes were blocked due to snowdrifts, and dozens more were sent to land at spare airfields.
Earlier we wrote that the passengers were stuck on a cruise liner. People spent several days at sea due to the cancellation of the flight. This was reported by USA Today.

The Norwegian Gem left the port of New York on January 9 and embarked on a ten-day Caribbean voyage, but on January 13 the management company canceled the voyage due to COVID-19. However, the ship did not return to the point of exit, and remained in open water for several days.
Tourists stuck on the liner were dissatisfied that the ship did not set sail and did not return to New York. One of the passengers, who was planning to celebrate her birthday on the cruise, called the trip “real hell.” However, she was satisfied with the compensation offered by the company.
We will remind, earlier DIP reported that “On board the cruise liner, the tourists vaccinated more than three months before the cruise won’t be able to rise“.
