A French tourist hit a girl in Japan and ended up with the police, the incident took place in one of the busiest areas of Tokyo. The man says that he does not remember the details of the incident.
According to yahoo news, a tourist from France was arrested for assaulting a girl.
“One of the most shocking incidents took place in Tokyo’s bustling Roppongi district, famous for its nightlife and trendy bars. French citizen Charlie Evan was leaving the establishment with his friends. On the street, a 23-year-old man collided with a 20-year-old girl, she dropped her container of breakfast, which led to a fight,” the newspaper writes.
The resource adds that in the viral video, you can see how a woman grabs Evan by the shirt as he tries to break free.
“Then Evan punches the woman in the face and she falls to the ground, and the tourist runs away. People can be heard shouting and scolding Evan in English, and another man in black clothes runs after the tourist,” the source adds.
Evans was subsequently detained and arrested. According to the man, he does not remember the details of the incident.

“I don’t remember anything,” the man was quoted as saying.
The media write that it is not known whether the tourist was intoxicated. Evans has not yet been formally charged, but it could be within three weeks: according to local laws, suspects can be held for up to 23 days before being charged.
The resource adds that it is not known what punishment threatens an aggressive man. As for the victim, according to the publication, the girl is in stable condition, but it will take at least three weeks to fully recover.
