Tourists holidaying in Antalya this weekend have been invited to a celebration where F-16 jets will put on a show right over the resort amid the current turbulent times.
The show will be held several times as part of events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey.
According to Vtrin Haber, the air show will take place twice. On Friday, two F-16 aircraft will perform a half-hour “rehearsal flight”. And the main part of the show will take place on Sunday, October 29, when at 13:00 4 F-16 aircraft will make a demonstration flight over the Konyaalta town square of Olbia.
On Friday evening, tourists are also promised a show of drones and fireworks. And the peak of its celebration falls on Sunday, October 29. In particular, a lantern procession is planned, which will start from Konyaalty Street at 6:30 p.m., as well as a drone and aerial lantern show on Dzumhuriyet Square at 10:45 p.m., which will also end with fireworks.
