Traveling with children? Sometimes this can be difficult.
To make family travel a piece of cake, not stress, here are some tips on how to do it without problems.
Set the standby mode
The biggest goal is to avoid the terrible “are we already there”.
Start talking about the trip to the destination in advance, and prepare children for information about long flights, stops, where and when they are going to eat and play, as well as rules of conduct on the plane and in the hotel, and be sure to answer any questions in advance .
Let the children know what to expect while traveling. Both parents and children will feel in control of what happens. Sow the seed of the journey.
Pack snacks
Abstaining from hunger is often the key to happiness. Take care of snacks on the road. Packing healthy snacks and snacks that travel well is always a great idea, such as fruits, vegetables and muesli bars.
It also does not hurt to have treats on hand to encourage children to behave well.
Entertain the children
Make a game plan so that the children are busy on the road. Books, coloring books, iPads filled with games and movies are great ways to keep kids busy during long flights and transfers.
As with treats, try packing fun surprises, such as a new game, book, or toy that kids aren’t expecting and that you can take when things get boring.
