Expeditions to Antarctica are again available to tourists

This winter, after two and a half years, expeditions to Antarctica have become available to travelers again, Travelpulse.com reports.

One of the options offered to tourists is an 11-day expedition along the Antarctica Classic route. Here travelers can immerse themselves in the environment of Antarctica. Tourists will visit the South Shetland Islands and the Antarctic Peninsula, watch penguins, see whales, and much more. The cost is $7,199 per person, departing March 13, 2023.

The longer itinerary is the Antarctic Classic In-Depth, a 13-day tour visiting the same locations but with two extra days. Here, tourists take pictures of leopard seals as a bonus and watch the ship passing through the Drake Passage. Scheduled to depart on November 11, 2022, the 11 percent discount price is $6,289 per person.

Travelers can save up to 20 percent when booking trips by September 29, 2022, for the period from October 22, 2022, to March 14, 2023. Antarctic expeditions for the 2023-24 winter season are also available for booking.
