At the foot of the Great Egyptian Pyramids, the first-ever fashion show was held – it was staged by the French house, Christian Dior.
Set against the backdrop of the pyramids, the fashion house unveiled a futuristic menswear fall 2023 collection called Celestial, according to the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism.
Another collection, Dior x Denim, was presented at the Grand Egyptian Museum of Antiquities on December 2.
It is noted that the Dior show is not the first this year, presented by European fashion houses against the backdrop of monuments of the ancient Egyptian heritage. Earlier in October, Italian Stefano Ricci showed his latest collection at the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut in Luxor.
