China Stuns the World: The Largest Indoor Ski Resort Opens in Shenzhen

Гігантський зимовий комплекс із трасами, дайвінг-центром і скеледромом став новим туристичним магнітом Південного Китаю

Shenzhen has unveiled the world’s largest indoor ski resort, a groundbreaking megaproject spanning 100,000 m² — equivalent to 11 football fields.

The venue features five ski slopes of varying difficulty, with the longest reaching 463 meters. Ski passes start at ¥348 (approx. $48) for three hours.

The complex goes beyond skiing, offering:

  • a 33-meter-deep diving pool

  • a heated swimming lagoon

  • a full climbing wall area

  • a large shopping and entertainment zone

Travel analysts note that the resort marks another major step in China’s strategy to boost domestic and inbound tourism through large-scale entertainment infrastructure.
