A couple of English lovers won a million pounds in the lottery, quit their job, and went on a trip. Mirror.co.uk writes about this, DIP reports.
A couple from Dunsville (South Yorkshire, England) – Terry Kennedy and Kay Yoksall – bought a ticket at the local post office and guessed the winning combination.
“You always hope something like this will happen to you, but it’s just a dream. You think it only happens to someone else, and not to ordinary people. Every single day we pinch ourselves to remind ourselves that this is reality” – the girl shared her impressions.
Young people quit their jobs, made a list of countries they wanted to visit, and started traveling. Over the past year, the British have visited Spain, Ireland, the USA, Mexico, Thailand, UAE, Portugal, France, Hungary, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, and Turkey, and also went on a Caribbean cruise.
“We didn’t travel much before we won because we couldn’t take a vacation. Winning the lottery gave us a chance to fulfill all our dreams,” Kennedy said, adding that the next place they plan to go would be Bora Bora.
