NL Times writes that due to a shortage of employees, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (Netherlands) introduces an additional restriction on passenger traffic.
The maximum number of departures on average should be reduced by 18%. This limit will remain in place until at least October 31st.
Previously, the maximum number of departing passengers per day was to be 67,500 in September and 69,500 in October, but will now be reduced to 54,500 and 57,000, respectively.
Recall that at the beginning of the week, huge queues formed at the airport, due to which passengers were late for their flights. The airport even had to ask the airlines to cancel part of the flights to unload the passenger traffic. As a result, 80 flights were canceled, and 650 were delayed.
