The door of an Asiana Airlines plane was opened by a passenger during a flight to Daegu, South Korea.
The Airbus 321 was flying from Jeju Island off the southern coast of South Korea to Daegu. According to Asiana Airlines, there were 200 people on board.
The shocking incident hit the phone of one of the passengers, who posted the video online. The video shows how frightened passengers hold on to the armrests of their seats.
The Daegu fire department said 12 people suffered minor injuries and nine passengers were hospitalized due to lack of air.
It is assumed that the door was opened by one of the passengers sitting next to the exit. The police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.

The passengers included 48 elementary and high school athletes. “The children were trembling and crying in panic. Those who were sitting at the exit must have been the most shocked,” said the mother of one of the athletes.
Despite what happened, the plane landed safely, after which the alleged suspect was arrested by local authorities.
