A Boeing 747 suffered a minor accident Tuesday morning, losing a wheel from the main landing gear during takeoff from an airport in Italy. However, the plane managed to land safely in the USA, according to the media of the Apennine Peninsula.
The plane took off from the airport in Taranto in the south of Italy and should land in the city of Charleston in South Carolina in the USA. The wheels were later found in vineyards near Taranto.
There are no casualties.
