It is noted that the body of a man, whose identity has not yet been confirmed, was found in Foz de Iguaçu. The nationality of the deceased is also unknown.
Earlier, a photo appeared in local media in which an elderly man, a visitor to the tour, climbed onto the railing to take a selfie, which is prohibited. As a result, he fell and was carried away by a stream of water.
It is noted that specially equipped paths have been arranged for visitors to the Iguazu National Park to observe the waterfalls, including directly above the cascades.
Iguazu is a complex of 275 waterfalls located on the border of Argentina and Brazil.
