According to media reports, a tourist from Belarus died in Turkey while paragliding. This information was confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.
The tragedy occurred in the area of the Alanya resort. The woman went paragliding with an instructor, but at an altitude of 800 m, the aircraft lost control, began to sharply descend, and fell into the forest.
Witnesses to the incident called rescuers, who, upon arrival at the scene, found a dead tourist and an injured instructor. He was hospitalized.
Turkish police are investigating the incident.
