A mysterious three-meter-tall silver pillar appeared on a hill in Wales. Residents are scratching their heads: what kind of object is this, who installed it, and why, Sky News reports.
According to the portal, an unusual object near the town of Hay-on-Wye in Powys was seen by a resident who regularly walks past. The man said he had never seen anything like this at this place before.
“It seemed to me that this could be equipment for scientific research on rainwater harvesting. But upon closer inspection, I realized that the object looked too strange for that. I moved closer to look, and realized that it was a triangular object made of stainless steel, hollow inside,” says an eyewitness.
It is noted that this is not the first such pillar that has appeared in the world over the past four years. Hollow mirror steles were previously discovered in the American state of Utah, on the top of Mount Pine in the city of Atascadero in California, then in Great Britain on the Isle of Wight, in the Netherlands and Romania. It is unknown who installed the mysterious structures and for what purposes.
Conspiracy theorists have suggested that the appearance of the mysterious pillars is somehow connected with extraterrestrial civilizations.
