A large forest fire broke out yesterday near the famous Turkish resort of Bodrum, Turkish media reported with reference to BTA.
Seven planes and helicopters, as well as more than 20 fire trucks, are involved in extinguishing the fire, state television TRT-Haber reported.
The fire started at approximately 3:00 p.m. The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
In June, a forest fire near the resort of Marmaris destroyed more than 5,000 hectares of forest. It took a week to extinguish the flames.
