According to Fox Baltimore TV channel, the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapsed in Baltimore (Maryland, USA). This happened after a container ship crashed into it.
As a result of the collapse of a 2.5-kilometer bridge, several cars fell into the river and a container ship sank. “An incident with a large number of casualties was declared,” the channel said in a statement.
“All traffic lanes are currently closed, and traffic is being detoured through the port tunnel or the city,” the TV channel reports.
Emergency services arrived at the scene.
