4 more beaches in Turkey received the “Blue Flag”

The beaches of Bogaz Public Beach, Kizilot Public Beach, Nar 1 Beach, and Nar 2 Beach, belonging to the municipality of Manavgat, have been awarded “blue flags”.

The blue flag ceremony, held on the public beach of the Boğaz Hotel, was attended by Manavgat Mayor Şükrü Sezen, TÜRÇEV Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors Cenk Khalil Bayaz, TÜRÇEV Antalya Coordinator Mustafa Eriygit, deputy mayors and heads of municipalities.

TÜRÇEV Antalya coordinator Mustafa Eriygit said in his speech at the ceremony that 4 beaches belonging to the municipality are rightfully eligible for the blue flag.

Pointing out that Antalya, with 229 beaches, is the city with the highest number of blue flag beaches in the world, Eriygit said, “With 55 beaches, Manavgat County has the bluest flag awards in our country. In Manavgat, 81 properties and 8 public beaches, along with additional properties, have Blue Flag status.

Mayor Shozen added in his speech that the local authorities are trying to provide the best service to the citizens of the city and foreign visitors.

Noting that there are over 250 5-star accommodations in the area, Sözen said, “Manavgat Municipality must keep up with and support these private sector initiatives. I want to thank my colleagues who contributed to this cause.

After the performances, a blue flag was raised on the beach.
