The Russian company Biletix has shared an overview of prices for flights departing from Moscow in the coming days. The minimum cost of a seat on flights to Tel Aviv is now from 378 thousand rubles (6400 dollars) one way, to Dubai – from 373 thousand (6300 dollars) to Astana (Nur-Sultan) – from 134 thousand (2300 dollars). Tickets to Istanbul can be found for 100 thousand rubles. (1700 dollars) in Baku – from 115 (1950 dollars). Cheaper places are quoted on the boards to Yerevan (65 thousand ($1100)) and Tashkent (60 ($1000)).
The representative of the company explained that they took into account the prices for both direct and connecting flights. “The cost of the flight has increased by about 10 times,” Biletix said.
“Rise in prices directly depends on the increase in the number of bookings,” said one of the aviation industry experts. – The most popular destinations are Istanbul and Dubai. Through these hubs, some passengers fly further to Europe, America, and other countries. We saw a similar rush demand for air tickets in February-March of this year, the expert added.
How long the period of excitement and high prices will last, experts do not know. According to Biletix, lower fares can only be found in the second half of October.
