Travel regime for citizens of Ukraine

Since November 1, 2010, Ukraine has been included in the list of countries covered by the so-called Electronic Permitting System (EDS). This is practically a unilateral abolition of the visa regime by Mexico for most categories of citizens of our state. As an alternative to a paid visa, Ukrainian citizens who have a valid passport and wish to enter Mexico for tourism, business and transit can obtain a free electronic permit from the competent Mexican authorities. To do this, you need to fill out a questionnaire posted on the website of the National Institute of Migration of Mexico at:
http://www.inm.gob.mx/index.php/page/Solicitud_de_Autorizacion_Electronica/ru.htm

In a few seconds, the electronic system responds. The positive response of the SED should be printed out and presented on the day of departure to the staff of the airline flying to Mexico, as well as after arrival in Mexico at the border control point – the country’s migration service officers. Also have the details of the hotel or the person inviting you. Before traveling, you need to make sure that the airline you plan to travel is connected to the SED.

Ukrainian citizens who have valid US visas or are permanent residents of Japan, the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States and the Schengen countries do not need an electronic permit to enter Mexico.
