Travel regime for citizens of Ukraine

On January 1, 2014, the Agreement between Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda on the introduction of a single visa for foreigners entered into force.

From now on, foreign citizens, including citizens of Ukraine can travel to Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda, obtaining a visa at the border at the airport or embassy of one of these countries. A one-time visa for travel to three countries for up to 90 days is subject to a $ 100 fee.

The single visa is additional, but not mandatory, and Ukrainian citizens can still obtain national visas to enter any of the countries of the Agreement when entering the international airport, paying $ 50 for a visa. USA. Citizens of Ukraine who have a residence and / or work permit in one of the countries of the Agreement must obtain a visa to enter the respective country in order to travel to another country of the Agreement. According to the Agreement, only citizens of the countries participating in the Agreement have the right to travel to another country on national identification cards.

It is possible to obtain a visa at the border (visa must be agreed in advance with the immigration service).
