Polish President Andrzej Duda’s plane made an emergency landing at Warsaw airport, Reuters reports. The agency quotes Duda’s adviser Yakub Kumokh.
The head of the office of the head of state, Pavlo Schrott, was adamant that the Polish president “is not in any danger.”
Andrzej Duda was to go to a meeting with US President Joe Biden in eastern Poland. It is unclear at this stage whether this will disrupt the meeting between them. Duda and Biden plan to visit Rzeszów, less than 80 km from the Ukrainian border.
