President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky expressed condolences to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Turkish people in connection with the consequences of floods and landslides in the Black Sea region of Turkey.
“Our sincere condolences to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the friendly people over the deaths and significant damage caused by the floods in the Black Sea region. We share the pain of families in which a natural disaster has taken away loved ones. We wish a speedy recovery to the victims, “Zelensky wrote on Twitter.

Dmytro Kuleba, the Foreign Minister of Ukraine, also expressed his condolences to Turkey.
“I am deeply saddened by the news of the devastating floods in Turkey, which have resulted in casualties and destruction. I deeply sympathize with the families of the victims and wish the wounded a speedy recovery. Ukraine is in solidarity with our Turkish friends and allies in this difficult time of trials, Kuleba wrote on Twitter.

The number of victims of floods and mudslides in the Black Sea region of Turkey has reached 44 people. This was announced on Saturday by the Office for Prevention and Elimination of the Consequences of Emergencies (AFAD) under the Government of Turkey.
According to the report, 36 people died in the northern province of Kastamonu, 7 in Sinop and one local in Bartyn.
