On the first day of the new year 2022, as well as on January 2, 3, 8 and 9, a retro train will run on the Lviv – Bryukhovichi – Lviv route.
This was announced on Facebook by the press service of the Lviv Railway, Ukrinform reports.
“The regional branch“ Lviv Railway ”has prepared a magnificent New Year and Christmas present for Lviv residents and guests of the city. On the first day of the new year 2022, as well as on January 2, 3, 8 and 9, a retro train consisting of an Er series steam locomotive No. 797-86 and two passenger carriages will run on the Lviv – Bryukhovichi – Lviv route, ”the message says.
As the railway workers note, on these days the holiday train will depart from the eastern side of the first platform of the Lviv railway station at 12:35 and 15:00 and arrive in Bryukhovichi at 13:00 and 15:25, respectively. The locomotive will leave at 14:00 and 16:25 and arrive in Lviv at 14:25 and 16:50, respectively.
The ticket price is: for adults – 54 UAH, for children – 40 UAH. 49 kopecks. Travel documents for traveling on a festive retro train can be purchased at a separate ticket office of the suburban ticket office at the Lviv Main Station.
