Hollywood couple Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis raised more than $ 15.9 million on Sunday after the launch of the GoFundMe page asking for humanitarian aid for Ukrainian refugees.
Kunis was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, in 1983, and moved to the United States in 1991.
“I’ve always considered myself an American, a proud American … But to this day, I’ve never been so proud to be Ukrainian,” Kunis said in the accompanying video.
Kutcher and Kunis said in a video that the funds would be used to provide humanitarian aid to Ukrainians affected by the Russian invasion.

“The main problem is logistics. We need to provide housing and resources in the area. I have never been so proud to be married to a Ukrainian woman. ”
The two actors, who got married in 2015, agreed to donate $ 3 million, with the ultimate goal of raising $ 30 million.
