According to the NOS TV channel, the Dutch authorities have decided to somewhat loosen anti-coronavirus restrictions, despite the difficult epidemiological situation with the spread of the Omicron strain.
So, from January 15, hairdressers, gyms and non-essential goods stores will resume work in the country. However, restrictions on the number of visitors in them still remain in force. Higher educational institutions will also open for full-time classes.
Bars, restaurants, theaters and museums will still be closed.
According to European media, against the backdrop of prolonged restrictions, residents of the Netherlands went to Germany and Belgium for recreation and shopping.
