Germany has announced another seven-day peak in new coronavirus cases, although the country is preparing to ease sanitary restrictions, according to Reuters.
The Robert Koch Institute registered 262,593 new cases during this period, which is 22 percent more than in the previous seven days. Thus, the total number of people infected with coronavirus in the country since the beginning of the pandemic has approached 17.7 million.
