At least one person has died from coronavirus in North Korea, and about 187,000 people have been quarantined after showing symptoms of fever, according to Reuters, citing the Central Telegraph Agency of Korea (CTAC).
Six people with flu-like symptoms died, one of whom was shown to be infected with Omicron coronavirus.
“Fever, the cause of which cannot be determined, has been spreading explosively across the country since the end of April,” the CCTA added.
