Turkey has registered a five-fold increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in the past two weeks, NTV reported.
“According to the latest announced weekly map on COVID-19, for the week from June 27 to July 3, the number of cases in the country increased by 114 percent compared to the previous week,” the channel informs.
Turkish Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca drew attention to the growth of the coronavirus epidemic around the world and recommended that people at risk and all citizens over 50 years of age be revaccinated if the last vaccination was more than six months ago.
