According to the Le Figaro newspaper, in France, against the backdrop of a worsening epidemiological situation, citizens are being urged to wear masks again in public transport. This was stated by the head of the French Ministry of Health Brigitte Bourguignon.
At the same time, she clarified that “we are talking about a request, not a command.” The department also advised the French to wear masks indoors again.
France is currently reporting about 60,000 new cases of COVID-19 every day. The country’s authorities are calling it the seventh wave of the coronavirus and are urging people over 60 to get a second “booster” shot.
