South Korea today announced a record 400,000 new Covid-19 cases amid continued easing of restrictions despite a wave fueled by Omicron, AFP reported.
Health authorities have identified 400,741 new infections, the highest number since the pandemic began two years ago, BNR said.
According to the World Health Organization, South Korea ranks first in the world in new cases of coronavirus in the last 7 days (2,38878), followed by Vietnam (1,795,380).
