The organizers of the Tokyo Summer Olympics have released a number of new restrictions that athletes must adhere to during the Games.
Some of these activities include:
- abstinence from sexual intercourse
- refusal of handshakes
- wearing masks during the award ceremony
The set of rules of the game, called Playbook, lists all the new rules, and failure to comply with them will result in fines for athletes, coaches or officials in Tokyo.
The rules cover a total of 90,500 foreign visitors to the Games – 11,500 athletes and 79,000 coaches, support staff and officials.
