Israel cancels PCR test when entering the country

The Israeli authorities decided to cancel the PCR test at the airport when entering the country from May 20. This was stated by the Israeli Ministry of Health.

In addition, from today, May 10, foreigners will be able to present an antigen test made before departure instead of the previously required PCR test. Antigen testing must be completed in the laboratory 24 hours before departure to Israel. At the same time, the presentation of a PCR test made a maximum of 72 hours before the trip is also possible.

The decision was made in connection with a significant decrease in the incidence of coronavirus in the country.
