Travel regime for citizens of Ukraine
Entry mode: Visa
Ireland is a country of the European Union, but it is not a member of the Schengen area. Therefore, a valid passport with a valid Irish visa must be presented to the immigration officer to enter Ireland.
Ukrainian citizens traveling to Ireland for tourism are eligible to enter a country with a valid multiple-entry British visa, but the first country to enter on a British visa must be the United Kingdom.
Keep in mind that a visa does not automatically allow you to enter Ireland. You must have all the supporting documents for the purpose of the trip to Ireland (invitation of the host, hotel reservation, etc.), as well as proof of sufficient funds (bank statement, etc.), and a return ticket. Based on the results of the review of the available documents and the interview, the immigration officer will put a stamp in the passport with permission to enter Ireland, which will indicate the date until which you are allowed to stay in the country. The short-stay visa to Ireland is valid for 90 days. At the same time, the immigration stamp is the main permit for staying in the country, the validity of which may be longer or shorter than the validity of the visa.
The Embassy of Ireland in the Czech Republic is part-time accredited in Ukraine (www.embassyofireland.cz). Territorially, Ireland is represented in Ukraine by the Honorary Consulate. Citizens of Ukraine apply to the Honorary Consulate of Ireland in Kyiv (http://www.irishconsulate.kiev.ua/ua/) at the following address: st. Khreshchatyk 32B. Hours and days of receipt of documents: Monday-Thursday from 10.00 to 13.00. The consular fee is paid when applying in euros or hryvnias and is: 1980 hryvnias (60 euros) for a single visa, 3300 hryvnias (100 euros) for a multiple-entry visa.
The decision on the visa is made by an Irish visa officer accredited by the Embassy of Ireland in Moscow (http://www.embassyofireland.ru).
