A magnitude 6 earthquake shook Indonesia, according to Reuters, citing the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center.
The earthquake occurred on the islands of Riau, in the northern part of the country, at a depth of 127 kilometers.
The center, based in Paris, initially said the magnitude of the quake was 6.4.
There are no data on casualties and material damage yet.
