Tourists were told that they could pick up from the hotel room and that from the restaurant

Only two things are allowed for tourists to take out of hotel rooms and restaurants without any unpleasant consequences or remorse. According to The Sun, former hotel manager Melly Ticktoker, known by the name @melly_creations, who often shares her tips with tourists, told about them in a new video.

So, what can you safely take home from a hotel room? First, disposable cosmetic items: shampoo, conditioner and soap. “You are allowed to take shampoo, conditioner and soap from the room you checked in, especially if you have already opened them, as they will still be thrown away after you check out. But if you’re passing by a cleaning cart, don’t just pick up these items. Instead, you should just ask, the maids will be happy to provide you with additional accessories,” the blogger clarified.

Secondly, fruits and pastries, if you do not abuse the amount. The expert paid special attention to the rules of behavior in the hotel restaurant. If you’re staying at a hotel that serves a continental breakfast, you can take it upstairs. You don’t need to secretly bring food to your room, and most hotels don’t mind if you want to have a couple more pieces of fruit or a cupcake,” she added.

The viral video has garnered 330,000 views, with many users sharing their comments expressing gratitude for the hotel manager’s advice. “This is great news! People were afraid to take a plate with them, now they will not live in fear”, “Thank you! I was always embarrassed to take an extra piece of fruit or a cupcake for my children on the road,” “I was always ashamed to take an extra piece for my children,” users said.

However, such recommendations are not new. Last year, the general manager of the Brooklyn Hotel, Paul Bayliss, explained that “handles, pads and bath products are standard,” meaning that guests can bring them with them. However, those who carry pillows, paintings, blankets, mattresses and televisions in their bags are overkill.

In July, DIP wrote about a Russian tourist who was caught stealing goods and products from a buffet from a Turkish hotel. During cleaning, 35 kg of products were found in her room.
