Some hotels in Turkey will not accept single men as residents. The DIP correspondent found out the list of hotels and the reasons.
Turkish resort hotels prohibit the accommodation of single men. At the same time, a number of them are well-known hotel chains. According to Kazakh tour operators, most hotels on the Turkish coast are aimed at family vacations, where no noisy parties are held late at night. By prohibiting this, hotels protect themselves and guests from problems.
According to the logic of hoteliers, if a man comes to Turkey alone or in a male company, the risk of unpleasant situations increases, such as violent behavior and fights due to alcohol intoxication.
“Although there are virtually no gender restrictions in Turkey, there are still a number of hotels where you may not be accommodated. This is called “hotel policy.” This is due to men’s behavior towards women. Therefore, if you are traveling with one or the other male, some hotels may refuse you,” – said a representative of one of the tour operators Svetlana.
