A British tourist who booked a suite at a five-star London hotel overlooking Tower Bridge was disappointed because the room and the website photos didn’t match.
As the traveler admitted, three nights in a room cost him more than a thousand pounds. He expected to get panoramic windows overlooking the suspension of Tower Bridge over the River Thames. According to him, this view was advertised on the hotel website.
However, instead of an “idyllic” view of London, he saw the wall of a neighboring building. In addition, the design of the room was different from the pictures: the room had a different coffee table and a floor lamp, and also there were no patterned pillows and fresh flowers.
The hotel management explained that the photos on the website are for reference only, as not all rooms are identical to each other. As a result, the tourist was returned the money for the remaining two nights, which he refused – while the man specified that this happened only after a series of complaints on social networks and claims against the hotel management.
