The teenager died in a US hotel under mysterious circumstances and lay there for a week next to his sick mother. Details are published by the New York Post (NYP).
According to the tabloid, the incident happened in Greenville, South Carolina. Fourteen-year-old Landon Chance Poston was found on November 21 at the InTown Suites hotel – the guy was lying on the floor in the room.
The county coroner’s office clarified that the teenager was found dead on his birthday – he was supposed to be 15 years old. There were no obvious signs of physical injury on the high school student’s body.
According to investigators, Poston lay in the room for more than seven days. Next to him was his mother in a deranged state, making incoherent sounds. The woman was taken to the intensive care unit for treatment. The rest of the details of what happened are currently being investigated.
