American video blogger @drewdoes stayed in an unusual room at the Paradiso art hotel in Ibiza, where you can spend the night for free. But there is one thing: while the bathroom is private, the rest of the space is completely visible to all hotel visitors.
The room is located on the first floor of the hotel, not far from the main entrance. Its walls are completely glass. The rest of the room is quite ordinary and cozy – it is equipped with a bed, a table, chairs, a bathroom with a toilet and a shower. The fashion blogger spent the night there and talked about the original place of residence to his subscribers.
“The only problem is that the walls are made of glass and the room is located in the lobby of the hotel. So you are in the field of view of its visitors all the time,” said Andrew.
Curious onlookers not only looked at him, but even took pictures. According to him, he felt like “an animal in a zoo.”
“When I tried to sleep, some people tried to wake me up,” he complained.
Despite the attention of the people around and the round-the-clock music in the lobby, Andrew still managed to get some sleep. He was able to relax and even ordered dinner in his room.
“But remember that just because you’re on your ‘lunch break’ doesn’t mean people will stop taking pictures of you,” he joked.
Regardless of the negatives, according to Andrew, it was a “great” experience that was “worth it.”
“The glass-walled room is perfect for performances, radio shows, DJ sets… the possibilities are endless if you like being the center of attention!” – follows from the description of the suite on the hotel’s website.
Paradiso Art Hotel was built in 2018, at the same time an unusual room called Zero Suite was installed.
Anyone can book a stay at the Zero Suite for one free night, but there are a few conditions. You will need to sign a permission form with the right to use your image, as you may be filmed and photographed. In addition, a maximum of two people can stay in a room and only once a year.
