According to the NTV channel, a strong fire broke out in a 24-story skyscraper in Istanbul.
The fire broke out in the Fikirtepe quarter of the Kadikoy district on the Asian side of Istanbul. The fire started on the lower floors of the 24-story building, and gradually the fire engulfed all floors.
The fire was fought by fire brigades from four districts of the city.
The residents of this skyscraper and several neighboring houses were evacuated. Luckily no one was killed or injured and the fire was put out.
As Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu said, “the cause of the fire will be clarified as a result of the investigation.”
