In Greece, there is an increase in the incidence of coronavirus, but the country’s authorities do not plan to introduce new restrictions. This was stated by the official representative of the Greek government, Yannis Ikonomou.
Recall that in connection with the improvement of the epidemiological situation for the summer season (from June 1 to September 15), in Greece, the mask regime was canceled indoors and outdoors, on planes, trains, and intercity buses. Masks should be worn only in urban public transport, medical facilities, and nursing homes.
However, in recent days, about 8,000 coronavirus infections have been detected in Greece every day, twice as many as a weeks earlier. In this regard, the media are discussing the possibility of introducing restrictions in the regions or at the entrance of the country. At the same time, the government claims that no anti-coronavirus measures are planned yet.
