Six people are under investigation, French television France Info reported yesterday, citing legal sources.
Two people have already been detained.
According to Le Monde, four suspects have prepared forged documents, and two others are suspected of buying forged vaccination certificates.
On Monday, French President Emmanuel Macron announced tougher rules on the country’s coronavirus pandemic.
Yesterday, thousands of people took to the streets of many French cities to protest the new rules.
The French Interior Ministry said that a total of 114 thousand people took part in the protests, according to TASS.
Three demonstrations involving 18,000 people took place in Paris. Police closed several central streets of the capital for several hours.
