The European Union is working on new anti-Russian sanctions, but they will not affect the energy sector, and are considering ways to circumvent them. This was stated on Saturday by the European Commissioner for Economics Paolo Gentiloni, speaking at the Ambroseti forum.
“We are working on additional sanctions packages, but we clarify that they do not currently include the energy sector. First of all, we are working to limit the possibility of circumventing these sanctions, ”ANSA quoted him as saying.
