According to the British edition of the Daily Mail, 11 European countries are in favor of restoring border controls within the Schengen zone.
Among such states are Germany, Sweden, France, Slovakia, and Italy.
The reason why the authorities of these countries consider such a measure appropriate is, first of all, uncontrolled migration. There are other threats as well.
These countries call for the restoration of document checks, vehicle inspections, and checkpoint operations at borders within the Schengen area.
