Losses of the Mastercard international payment system due to the suspension of activities in Russia amounted to $34 million.
This follows from the company’s reporting for the last quarter.
“Net expenses before tax in the first quarter of 2022 consist of administrative costs of $34 million and are directly related to the sanctions imposed and the suspension of our activities in Russia,” the statement said.
