The British newspaper Evening Standard considers Bulgaria among the destinations that are likely to be added by the British government to the green list for travel. The newspaper quotes analyst Robert Boyle, former director of strategy for the parent company British Airways IAG. He predicts that this week 12 countries may be at a lower risk of contracting COVID-19. According to him, these are nine European countries that are “strong candidates for the green list.” These, in his opinion, include Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia and Switzerland.
People arriving in the UK from the destinations listed in the green list do not need to be isolated. Meanwhile, all those coming from the countries on the orange list must be isolated for 10 days. After the removal of this restriction, interest in traditional tourist destinations, such as Italy, Spain, Greece, Bulgaria and others, is expected to grow.
