Australia will fully open its borders to all vaccinated visa holders on February 21, Prime Minister Scott Morrison said after the country was closed to foreigners for nearly two years to reduce the threat of coronavirus, according to Reuters.
“If you have received another dose of the vaccine, we will be happy to see you in Australia,” Morrison told a news conference.
Since the end of last year, Australia has adopted a rather unwise policy of opening its borders, allowing skilled migrants, foreign students and certain categories of tourists to enter the country first.
