Surfer Jason Breen, 55, narrowly escaped serious injury after a humpback whale jumped onto him off a Sydney beach, the Daily Mail reports.
The incredible incident was captured by Brin’s GoPro camera and by passerby Paul Nettebeck, who filmed the scene from the shore. The videos went viral online.
GoPro footage shows Bryn screaming in horror as the giant mammal leaps out of the water.
The camera captures a few “seconds of turbulence” before Breen can be seen climbing back on board as the whale moves off into the distance.
“Damn, I just got hit by a whale,” the man said in the video.

Users of the social network note that it would be difficult to believe if it were not for the footage that the GoPro camera was filming all this time.
“Why didn’t you come to work? I was hit by a whale,” “Looks incredible,” “No one would have ever believed him if it weren’t for the camera,” users of the social network TikTok write under the post.
